Ascential PLC, Paddington
It was imperative that the look and feel for the new space should reflect the essence of the media company, glamorous back drop, elegant and creative but also providing a sense of fun and vibrancy.
A key factor for consideration was the seasonal increase in population required for 3 months of the year to support the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The team had to work with 2 sets of plans to accommodate the peak and low seasons for the brand deploying several innovative planning strategies to allow the business to occupancy comfortably and maximise the productivity of the available space.
In the workplace areas, it was a very important part of the brief to provide each brand with an identity, to create a tribal spirit between the different brands. The team used several graphic enablers to create strongly identifiable areas within the work zones.
The space which is semi subterranean also benefitted enormously from a new lighting scheme throughout which has transformed the look and feel, most notably an LED tube light installation over the atrium lightwell provides a point of interest and of course brightens the whole space.
The design of this space has set the standard for the new Worldwide Ascential Brand and we are proud to have been part of the project.
