Mitel are a global provider of enterprise and mobile communications powering more than 2 billion business connections and 2 billion mobile subscribers every day, Mitel helps businesses and mobile carriers connect, collaborate and provide services to their customers.

Due to a number of acquisitions of different businesses across EMEA in recent years, Mitel found they needed to assess their property portfolio to determine which properties to retain, which sites need to be closed, relocated, re-planned and refurbished and possibly augmented.

The Mitel sites are predominately function led with sales, service and training functions. In general, there is a headquarters building in all locations which incorporate functions such as Finance, Human Resources and Training as well as Client Demonstration Facilities.

The project aspirations were predominately based on the primary focus of delivering cost effectiveness, efficiency and savings.

Create assisted Mitel with the development of this strategic program by implementing the following tools to facilitate the process:-
– Development of a Master Space Budget Tool
– Design Brief
– Site Visits
– Building Appraisal
– Design Standards document

Create then used the tools developed to work with Mitel on a Country by Country basis to determine the best way forward for each location, key locations included Dubai, Switzerland and Germany as well as the UK sites.
